Connection
指 TCP socket, the named pipe, the shared memory region 等構成連線的所有元素統稱

Session
指承載上述內容相關交換資料(cache of your login information, current transaction isolation level, session level SET values)的載體

一個 connection 有一到多個 session。

Transaction
是一連串應該一起生效(或失效)的命令。

一個 session 可以有多個 transactions。
